Jamie Lee Curtis has announced that she and her family are making a large donation to relief efforts as fires continue to ravage Los Angeles.

Jamie Lee Curtis said she and her family are pledging $1 million to start a “fund of support” for those affected by the blazes burning in and around Los Angeles.

Actor Jamie Lee Curtis, one of many celebrities who had to flee this week's wildfires in California, said on Thursday her family would donate $1 million to relief efforts.
