DeKalb County, State of Emergency

DeKalb County has lifted the state of emergency put in place due to winter weather earlier this week. CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson announced it had been lifted on Thursday, Jan. 23.
It was issued on January 22 by DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson in response to the recent severe winter weather conditions.
All of Georgia remains under a state of emergency as some dangerous road conditions continue to pose a threat to drivers.
Local and state officials are warning the public about severe winter weather that will arrive overnight on Sunday, Jan. 19.
