Dense fog and severe air quality levels have caused travel chaos in India's capital Delhi. Visibility in several areas was reported to be zero in the early hours of Friday, disrupting flights, trains and road transport.

Dense fog and severe cold conditions have gripped Delhi and parts of North India, wreaking havoc. Visibility in the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) reduced to zero on Friday morning, resulting in over 150 flights and 26 trains being delayed. FlightRadar24 reported an average flight delay of 41 minutes owing to the weather conditions.

Dense fog resulted in a multiple-vehicle collision in Hapur Uttar Pradesh on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway near the Bahadurgarh station area. At least six vehicles were involved in the pile-up, temporarily blocking the road,

Delhi NCR is once again enveloped in dense fog, leading to poor visibility and travel disruptions across the region. The thick blanket of mist has extended throughout northern India, affecting daily commuters and travelers.
