Dune: Awakening officially launches on May 20, 2025, but the expansive Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (yeah, I'm just saying MMORPG from now on) is arriving exclusively via the Steam platform. Dune: Awakening has received its release date: 20th May on Steam. Alongside the news, developer Funcom has made the multiplayer survival game's character creator available to download today, as well as a benchmark tool.

Awakening's release date, pricing information, and pre-order bonus, in addition to launching the game's character creator.

Players can download a character creator and benchmark tool now to get ready for their journey on Arrakis.

The Dune: Awakening will launch on PC via Steam on May 20, 2025, and soon be available to pre-order. With the Character Creator & Benchmark Mode available to download, the players will receive a code for an exclusive Frameblade Knife skin that can be redeemed at launch.

Funcom's survival MMO based on the Dune universe was first announced back in 2022, but it's finally releasing in May of 2025, and we're pretty excited to see the spice begin to flow on Arrakis What can we expect from Dune: Awakening?
