Tracking the Tropics: Rafael will weaken into a “remnant low” tonight or tomorrow; this means its basically a weak area of low pressure with no real tropical characteristics. Some of its leftover moisture could help with rain chances by midweek, but it will pose no threat of dangerous weather to any part of the United States.

As mild temperatures return, Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Highs will be back up into the mid to upper 60s. Cloudy skies arrive for the evening and overnight, with scattered showers after midnight. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s.

The shower chances last us through tomorrow morning before things dry out into early this week. That said, more rain is possibly by Wednesday with temperatures turning cooler behind a passing front.
