Anthony Davis led all players with 37 points as his left foot injury in the fourth quarter worsened, and he departed to be further evaluated. LeBron James seemed taken aback when a reporter asked the question about Davis missing some games going forward with the player patently still visibly in pain from Duren's foul on Davis.

Unfortunately, Davis also appeared to aggravate a left ankle injury, as he was on the floor in pain and then was limping up and down the court late in the fourth quarter. After the game, Lakers superstar LeBron James was asked how the team would manage if Davis is forced to miss time due to the injury.

Despite a 37-point effort from Anthony Davis and a strong game from LeBron James, the Lakers struggle on defense yet again in a 115-103 loss to Detroit.
