President-elect Donald Trump chose Joseph Nocella to be the United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Nocella, a Columbia Law School graduate, was appointed Nassau County District Court judge in 2022. He was previously the assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1991 to 1995.
