A Colorado dentist is set to go on trial next week, accused of killing his wife by poisoning her protein shakes.

Robert Werking — who had been representing Aurora dentist James Craig in a high-profile murder case — attended the brief hearing virtually and appeared to be sitting in a hospital bed.

Steinberg has not responded to requests for comment. Craig’s next attorneys, Lisa Moses and Robert Werking, were appointed for him by the court and the trial was rescheduled for July.
