The unexpected demise of Rohan Mirchandani, co-founder and CEO of Epigamia, has sent shockwaves across India’s start-up ecosystem.

Epigamia's parent company, Drums Food International, said the company's senior leadership continues to take care of its day-to-day operations. The company's board, including Mirchandani's father Raj Mirchandani will also support the operations, the company said, according to the press release.

Rohan Mirchandani, co-founder of India’s leading Greek yoghurt brand Epigamia, died on Saturday at the age of 42 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Led by him, Epigamia grew to over 20,000 retail touchpoints across 30 cities.
