Just over a month after Walmart closed a $2.3 billion deal to acquire Vizio to help further its ambitions in the connected TV advertising space, the retailer has unveiled a new bundling plan for consumers with two smaller streaming platforms.

VIZIO has announced a new streaming bundle for account holders, offering STARZ and AMC+ for just $13.99 per month. Normally priced at $20.98 for separate subscriptions, this deal provides a nice amount of savings while delivering a diverse selection of movies and TV shows directly to VIZIO smart TVs.

The Starz-AMC initiative took root last August at Vizio’s developer conference, when the company signaled its interest in creating bundles. Pond said plans call for more tailored bundles reflecting the programming interests of Vizio users. In one hypothetical scenario, British drama fans, for example, could put together Acorn TV, Britbox and PBS.

VIZIO announced a new bundle available with a VIZIO Account, giving customers access to the vast selection of movies and TV shows in the STARZ and AMC+ libraries. If purchased separately, subscriptions to these two leading streaming services would ordinarily cost $20.
