I see that DX Engineering still carries the CT-62 ($36.99), but it still requires a serial port. There are aftermarket clones of the CT-62 that require a USB port.

A little dongle would be more economical to make because less materials used at the micro SMT level. Uniden will have to make their own design. Take apart my idea all you want.

I'm trying to use my radio through BLUE DV software with the USB connected connected to my radio using a Windows PC or the Bluetooth BLUE DV where you hook up through your smart phone or tablet via Bluetooth.
