Park Building Rental Process. All park buildings require a $200 security deposit that is charged at the time of reservation. The deposit will cover damages, insufficient clean-up or rule violations. This building housed the library where Ray Bradbury, the famous author and Waukegan native, spent his childhood. Bradbury referred often to this building, and the children's reading room in particular, as being instrumental in his development as a writer.
