    Organizing and summarizing search results for you
    • Tap your highlighted text and select Note. You can then start writing your note in the box provided. Hit Save when you're done. Your note should appear as a small numbered icon at the end of your highlighted text, which you can tap to quickly view, edit, share, or delete your note.
    • Click the highlights and notes button for your books under Content. The book location is included for each annotation, and you can also add notes and delete highlights. If need be, you could print out your annotations or save them as a PDF.
    • Open the Kindle app and then tap on a book to open it. Highlight the word, sentence, or paragraph by dragging your fingers across to select it. The highlighting toolbar appears as soon as you lift your finger from the screen. Unlike the Kindle Paperwhite, you can choose a color for the highlight.
    • Select text in your book by touching your finger to a word and dragging it across the screen. As you do so, the selected text turns white on a black background. When you release your finger, a pop-up window provides these options: Share, Add Note, Highlight, and More.
