Essentia Health Sports Center About Us/Contact Us As owners of the Essentia Health Sports Center, Brainerd Amateur Sports Foundation has transformed this community landmark into a facility that will better accommodate all users and support new multi-purpose events and sports.

Essentia Health is an integrated health system serving patients in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Jim admired the hospital’s professional partnership that helped him to care for underserved populations—pediatric, special needs or older patients—who needed a safe environment for dentistry under anesthesia. From births to major surgeries, the hospital has delivered outstanding, personal care to the Prittinens.

The Center’s Executive Director Jim Brau shared, “It Is the best part of my day. When I see the kids walk in from school, I hear the kids laughing and giggling, It puts all the stress away which is a very unique thing to see every day. The Essentia Health Sports Center is operated and owned by Brainerd Amateur Sports Foundation.
