Mar 27, 2018 · Thanks for all the replies. But I’m specifically asking if anyone is rh sensitized NOT rh negative. The rhogam shot (which I’ve had several times) is given to prevent rh sensitization, unfortunately I was Sensitized before I got my most recent shot and it’s a permanent condition. Looking for anyone who has also been through this.

I got my rhogam but found out from my doctors that I had created antibodies beforehand. I’m not getting any clear answers and have been referred to high risk but haven’t heard from them yet....

That being said on past relationships I was not very strict about preventing pregnancy and could of had a miscarriage and not of known it which could of lead to rh sensitization....

Feb 11, 2025 · Even with sensitization it’s highly unlikely for that to cause MC early on as antibodies can’t cross until 10-12 weeks when placenta takes over. I am sensitized and on my fourth pregnancy/3rd baby with antibodies and when I had my MC at 7 weeks it wasn’t even a consideration from my MFM if the cause was antibodies.

I am super frustrated because I am very anti-injections, but the consequences of sensitization seem to outweigh the risk. Any info, encouragement or advice would be appreciated!
