We need a fridge, laundry washer, and dryer. I'm hoping to find somewhere that sells scratch and dent .. in southern Dallas (we don't mind a bit of a drive, we're touring around anyhow).

They have the electronics sections there as well. Best way to come in for appliances is "around the back" meaning I guess circle around the store to parking lot in back of Sears.

I purchased a refrigerator from the Sears outlet off IH 37 between Sunset and Loop 410. Some fairly decent buys there. And if you want, you can get their extended warranty. Though, I don't generally buy those.

Sometimes those two places have new advertised appliance deals that are cheaper than what you would find on a standard scratch/dent deal. The Sears Grand location on I35/Parmer has a pretty large selection of appliances.

Stay as far away from HH Gregg as you can, I had a very bad experience there, they really stink. Good luck! Edit: Ask for Randy L., hes great.
