A Bachelor of Architecture degree is a five-year professionally accredited program. The core of our curriculum is the studio, where you learn to explore and generate ideas, speculate, draw, and envision your own creative practice. The first year, you will focus on design fundamentals.

We offer undergraduate degrees in architecture, graphic design, and interior architecture with paths for first-year or transfer students.

Mar 10, 2025 · You’ll learn to engage today’s wicked problems–from strategic and infrastructural planning of landscape resources at the scale of the Tennessee River to detailed design investigations of brownfields, parks, and yet unclassified landscape territories that continuously emerge as a result of larger socio-economic and -ecologic forces.

Our award-winning building, affectionately called “the A+A,” houses administrative and faculty offices for the College of Architecture and Design, as well as 450+ individual student workstations in open studio spaces.

All entering architecture, interior architecture, and landscape architecture students are required to purchase specified hardware and software.

The School of Architecture offers two tracks leading to a professional Master of Architecture degree—both of which challenge students to design their path through elective offerings, research studios, study abroad options, and degree concentrations.
