Try this step to get back the news feed: 1-Open Edge. 2-Click on the Gear Icon on the top corner in the right. 3-In the Page Layout tab, select Informational (as shown in the image below) 4-You can select Custom and choose more news feed options as well.

Just remove them (I have set Edge in English United State as default, it was in English, I don't know if it is a required step though).
