Jul 26, 2016 · 5. The red channel has way too much gain on tap. This is the third reason (besides EQ and playing volume) that people think it sounds fizzy -- they have too much gain dialed in, and it might be Marshall's fault for putting it there. The higher gain settings just don't really work.

Currently using Cornish G2 and SS3 plus some vintage fuzzes. Love the G3. Only downside is it doesn't clean up with the guitar's volume.

May 23, 2022 · Both, but mainly as close to the Marshall 100 watt combo with a les paul custom which i posted track demos here at the top, they are also double tracked but rich fat in tone which sit in the mix or alone evenly and very well compared to amp sims which are high end no bottom unless saturated but ok for high gain modern metal.
