The Fond du Lac Reservation, established by treaty with the United States Government in 1854, is located in east central Minnesota near Cloquet (population 10,000), approximately 20 miles southwest of Duluth and Lake Superior. The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa has over 3900 enrolled members, of whom nearly 1900 members live on the
