Apr 1, 2011 · The Blue Angel is a single channel 4x10 combo, with very simple controls. No "cascading gain" here. Just beautiful tone and fabulous reverb from a non-master volume circuit using either 6V6 or EL84 output tubes.

Sep 29, 2011 · Delta pro12a. to me, the sound is very, very good....so much so that i'm near to selling my last tube amp (mesa boogie blue angel 4x10). recently picked up a crown xls1000 power amp as it's so light. will be trying out that with the 1x12's to see if i can tell any meaningful (to me) difference in the sound.

Nov 19, 2007 · It is a Graphic EQ unit, set to flat response. :( That makes no sense. If it's flat, and the transistors don't distort...then it's not doing anything. The EQ makes the Marks sound good because nobody sets it flat!

Sep 22, 2017 · Mesa Boogie Blue Angel, 6v6 mode, attenuated and re-amped by the Fryette Power Station. I think this is a highly underrated amp that can be picked up very inexpensively currently, and it's especially awesome if you have some sort of attenuator.
