It's a bit gray (to help with the "super" hide), and some prefer it to the very white Muresco Ceiling White (also by Ben Moore) Truthfully, the Muresco is a better ceiling paint with higher hiding and less splatter...and it's pretty white.

The problem with PVA primers is they don't do a great job of sealing the drywall. Lower end flat paints might not be washable over PVA and latex enamels require an extra coat to achieve an even sheen.

Then spray paint a semi-gloss or satin white. If you'd rather match your ceiling paint instead, then just paint it with your ceiling paint.
