Brian Philip Babin[1] (/ ˈbæbɪn / BAB-in; born March 23, 1948) is an American dentist, politician and member of the Republican Party who has served as the U.S. representative from Texas's 36th congressional district since 2015.

Born in Port Arthur and growing up in Beaumont, Congressman Brian Babin is a lifelong resident of East Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Lamar University and completed dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas.
